Naarya and narya which one is correct
ReplyDeleteNarya is correct because there isn't prolonging the article a
Delete'naarya' means '(s)he is eating, while 'narya' means 'I have eaten.'
DeleteNaarya is correct. In the word naarya (meaning: I have eaten), the article a is prolonged in pronunciation. Without prolonging the article a, it loses meaning.

ReplyDeleteThe prefix 'ata-' or 'ato-' in Runyankore-Rukiga is vague pronunciation for "(S)he who. . . . . ." The correct usage should be 'Ota-' or 'Ote-' or 'Oto-'
ReplyDeleteExamples, otoomize. . . . , otarakutwere. . . . , otamanya. . . .
In otherwords, the prefix 'ot. . . . . . .' stands for 'the one who won't/hasn't. . . . . .
Well done !!!!!
